The online gaming market today is flooded with variety of multiplayer online games and thinking we practically had all games available was so wrong because there was still some room for an unexpected entry. One such online game which is sure to invoke a great response from all the on-line game lovers is expected to be launched by the second quarter of 2010. This massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) would be launched by TurnOut Ventures limited and is based on the iconic Tom and Jerry cartoon characters.
TurnOut Venture Limited is a joint venture between Turner Entertainment Holdings Asia pacific Limited and Outblaze Investment Limited. The actual name has however not been released, as of now it has been referred to as the Tom and Jerry MMOG. The best part is that the Tom and Jerry MMOG would be both Mac and PC compatible. So, there is no chance of any Tom and Jerry loving player to miss out on the fun. The game is planned to be launched in the Asian market first and depending on the response, it will see a wider release.
The game will have both the Player versus Environment’ (PvE) and the ‘Player versus Player (PvP) modes. Typhoon Games is the developer of the Tom and Jerry MMOG. Players would be able to control the feuds between the two characters and if they wish they can also create their own versions of the either characters. So, everyone is definitely looking forward to relive their childhood memories and decide who would be the winner for the day- Tom or Jerry.
