The TBP or trade paperback review of issues 37 38 39 40 41 42 of the Superman/Batman: Torment is fairly well perceived in the story format and is quite an interesting read. The story is reasonably decent and the anguish portrayed is good to read. It was, in fact, a pleasure to read the torment editions.
Jeff Lemire’s did a decent work in terms of the story, but in this issue of Superboy, he tried to put too much of an effort to create the world of Smallville around the lead character. The issue mixes portions of Superboy’s worlds, which brings the Teen Titans to Smallville. Though it looks to be a lot of drama, however, it is quite charming as a tribute to the Silver Age.
