The release of the film “X-Men” by Marvel a decade ago has created a huge demand for its comics among the moviegoers. The publishers though could not keep up with the demands of its fans at that time. Marvel has found the way to market its characters in the most efficient way which can be evident from the release of the first issue of the series “Black Widow”.
The issue starts with the enlightenment of the six page saga of the Black Widow which shows the history of Romanoff in comic books. It would also be a chance for the fans to see the character that was famously portrayed in “Iron Man 2” by Scarlett Johansson. When you consider the artwork of this issue, the work done by Daniel is certainly very appreciable. He gets full points for detailing his work which looks deceptively non-detailed.
It would be very hard for the readers to find any visual presentation similar to the one that he has been able to create. The story although being suspenseful and high on energy fails to arise much interest in the readers due to a weak storyline. Liu Marjorie has done a comparatively good job when it comes to portraying the supporting character of the Black Widow.
The opening encounter scene is really exciting and would definitely appeal to its audience. The story also has some instances which may leave the readers a little baffled, like the one where one of the friends of Black Widow decides to walk out on its opponent despite being in a winning situation. Overall the story is very exciting and looks like a series that you must watch out for.
