This issue of the Amazing Spider Man has been wonderfully written by Dan Slott, but feels more like a filler issue than anything. The issue sees Spider Man and Black Cat teaming up with the latter making a comeback after almost 14 issues. They gear up together to teach Mr. Negative a lesson.

The issue also sees Black Cat flirting with Spider Man as usual and also attempting to link up with him in the hideout of the bad guys. The issue is overall entertaining and readers also get to see the ripples caused by the negative side of Aunt May. She in no ways feels like the sweet Aunt May of the old and the readers would rather want to see her older self.

The character of MJ seems to have the known substance that was lacking in some of the previous issues. The story gives a feeling that it may be Spider Man’s pause through the Gauntlet and the end also suggest that the issue is all set for its next stage.

The next villain also makes an entry in the issue and readers can expect a lot more action in the upcoming issues. Michael lark and Matt Hollingsworth have worked wonderfully in tandem and make the issue bright and sparkling. The series would also see the Lizard in action very soon and that would certainly add to the fun of the series. This issue, which is available at $2.99 can till then take care of the readers’ appetite.
