dead of night

Unlike the previous edition, Dead of Night series doesn’t show Devil Slayer in the ugly costumes and marvel weapons this time. The makers have tried to give a new feel to the character by omitting his trademark sword, taking out the hideous blue costume and funny headgear from the visuals and pulling out the cape as well from the picture. Devil-Slayer #1 is about the current position of Iraq with a supernatural flavor to it. The story has fewer captions to support and it is basically unfurl with interesting dialogues and visuals. Though, the characters are the same antiquated war story typecasts. The marvelous artwork could make the story work. Fine use of lights and shadows and emphasis on detailing has added an artistic touch to this horror comic.

Here is the review of the latest comic Moon Knight #21 by Benson. It comes from the bag of Marvel Comics.
The Moon Knight #21 begins with the ‘Death of Marc Spector’ arc which creates a stern and fake sadness. Benson should have created some humor to give sagacity to the Moon knight. Texiera and satares have done a good job on their part by drawing screeching and shouting figures. Norman Osborn appears which is not at all surprising who has watched Venom-and-moon-night ads.
So in all Moon Knight #21 is just an average comic issue. And if this kind of stuff is going to continue in future then I am sure nobody would be interested in reading anymore of Moon Knight stuff.

Live your childhood again by reading Strikeforce: Morituri comics. Despite of the fact of being one of the oldest comic its popularity has not a percent dwindled. Initially the comic was published by Marvel comics and later on the succession was shaped by Peter B. Gillis and Brent Anderson.

The principle of the book is that extraterrestrial creatures have assaulted and conquered the earth. A scientist invents a super human power to defend the earth inhabitants from these aliens. Though there was a condition that the humans who are sanctioned this power will die within a year after getting this power.

After Gillis and Anderson the series was finished by James Hudnall and Mark Bagley. Read it to feel the action.

Oddly enough, I thought Roy Thomas was dead. The writing and artwork for this series is excellent. I loved the 5 issues -- and thought that the cover for #3 was among the year's best comic covers. But it's unlikely this series will stand the test of time. If it
