This volume of Venom is set in an eastern European country called Nrpsvekistan, which is under attack. The attack was initiated by a nationalist known as the Bright who has captured a mother and son duo. Many leaders of U.N peacekeepers came to help them, but were all killed by Antarctic Vibranium bullets shot by Jack O’Lantern, who also executed the man and his mother.

Jack O’Lantern has an unidentified superior who keeps an eye on him on video to ensure that special Vibranium bullets are working. Doctor Ferid Ekmecic, who designed these bullets are making use of them in this war. Now, Jack O’Lantern’s boss wants him to find the Doctor and bring him to his boss.

As Lantern was about to capture the doctor, Agent Venom attacked him. Agent Venom, whose real name is Flash Thompson is bonded with Venom symbiote, a fictional extraterrestrial life.

However, in his quest to save a civilian, venom couldn’t recover Doctor Ekmecic alive. Now, venom knows that he couldn’t bond with the Venom symbiote for more than 48 hours. In that case, the bonding will become permanent and the authority at Project Rebirth will kill him.

After taking the civilian to a safe place, Venom goes to rescue Doctor Ekmecic and is attacked by Jack O’Lantern who captures the doctor. After getting conscious venom find Lantern’s flying off with the doctor and shoot a web at the Doctor, who dies instantly.

On reaching back Project Rebirth, Flash was yelled at by General Dodge for the failure of the mission.

Jean “Moebius” Giraud who was a great French artist in the comic world is no more with us. He has given some of the best collection of wonderful books and earned worldwide fame for his work. Here we are mentioning six of his works written in English that everyone would love to go through.

Coming from the house of Marvel Comics, this issue of astonishing x-men written by Christos Gage is another interesting and exciting issue. As in the earlier series we know that four leaders of X-Men, Cyclops, Emma, Wolverine and Armor, are in Japan fighting monsters.
